its raining !! maybe we’ll get to see some of these “banks” of snow dwindle down some??  I will be so glad to see Spring get here!! I’m guessing we should start getting to spring around ohh what JULY??

Brooke was here for the day yesterday, and Vivian brought in her youngest Grandchild for a playdate, Alex and Brooke had a great afternoon together, sharing cherrio’s and toys.

Brooke has taken to adding “moves” to her dancing,, I video taped her last evening, she is so much fun to watch. 

Only 2 more weeks until we leave to go to Kevin and Shan’s !! Whoot,

Yesterday  I decided I wanted a nice big supper with all the fixins, so I made Surf n Turf,, it was goood!! Steaks and scallops , potatoes and veggies.. and for dessert. Strawberry Short cake ! YUMMY.

Brooke enjoyed everything as well, even tried her with some scallops.. didn’t give her much of it since its not something she has tried before but she loved them. 

Loralee came over Thursday evening and spent the night. and Amanda was in for a visit Thursday evening. it was also her Birthday , her and some friends are going out this evening to celebrate. 

I think I will gather up all our Tax “stuff” and try to file our taxes today, get that job overwith. hopefully there won’t be any “paying in” this year.

Haven’t been very good about updateing here have I ?

Lets see what has been going on since last month.. well,  Brooke has graduated to a big bed, the crib and play pen are just to cramped for her, so at 14 months she is now in a double bed.  She was in for her 1 year check up and is the average size of a 2 yr old.  Yep she’s a growing girl !! 

Wendell’s Sister and husband has booked the 4 of us in for our hotel accomadations for Sept. in Richmond Virginia, we’re going to a Nascar race WHOOT!!  

only 2 weeks from this coming Saturday and we’ll be on our way to Kevins for a week. Can’t wait for my bear hug!!  <—-(missing my boy!)

Viv and I took of last Saturday and went to Charlottetown for the day we had a wonderful day window shopping and went out to lunch at “Cora’s” Great food !! I bought a new coat.  and picked up part of Kevin’s birthday gift. 

This evening I went up town and met up with Viv for coffee and we went looking at Luggage, I bought a new suitcase (big one) for $50  reg. price was $175 so that was a good deal ! 

I got extended at work until March 13th. (good timing since we leave on the 14th). and I thought wow that is great timing, my next program doesn’t start until April so its all good,, yeah not so,, I got a call last week my other program was ready for me to start work on the 16th !! grrr.. but they had 2 start dates so I can start on the 23rd which is fine we get back on the 21st. BUT by me taking that week off to go away, they have to lay me off which takes me off the payroll and then hire me back on the 23rd so I’ll have to wait for a paycheck again.  PLUS I won’t get any vacation time and I can’t bring what I have earned over with me because of the lay off, Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal for a 7 week program EXCEPT this particular program has some VERY slow days, and it would be nice to have vacation time to take when there is not a lot of work to do.. Oh well its only 7 weeks, I’m sure filing or the mail room will have SOMETHING to keep me busy when there are no cheques to process. 

been going to Tops, that is going well, I’m back on track, I had kind of put all that aside and got way off track with everything that was going on since Christmas time so I’m pleased to say I’ve taken back off plus a little more of what I managed to put on over Christmas and up to the end of January.  

I am so Tired of all the snow. I will be glad to see it GONE! I want to see what is going to come up in my flower beds !  I wish I was going to one of those sunny destinations that a lot of my co’workers have been visiting in the last few months.   Oh well hopefully it will be a BIT better in Toronto when we go up.
