Well everything seems to be working ok, in doing all the changes lastnight I noticed that this blog will be five years old come Jan. if you look at the archives we started this on Jan. 2003. and while I was working on the site backing everything up I was somewhat surprised to see that there is 162MB of just pictures that was uploaded for posting to the blog.

Anyway things are working good and it will be much simpler to keep up to date for upgrades to Wordpress now, should be as simple as one or two mouse clicks and less than 5 minutes  and it’s upgraded instead of the 30 minutes or more depending how much I backup before applying the update.

I will be doing some heavy maintenance work to this site tonight which will likely take a couple of hours or more, at the moment Iam backing up everything and after the backup is done I will be using the hosts feature of letting it do the install of Wordpress instead of me doing a manual install, and upgrades all the time.

Phew !! ….. am I glad thats done and over with, still a few more tweaks to make but those can wait until tomorrow evening.
