ahh the weekend is here again !! time is flying by, Summer has come to an end again. Where DOES the time go ?

I went down to use the T-Zone machine again yesterday and since it was a week since I started going we took my measurements again and I have lost 10.5 inches in total since last Thursday ! Whoot !! 

Wendell and I are joining Viv  and Shelton this evening for supper we are going to a salad bar for a nice quiet evening of chit chat and relaxation ! Amanda has offered to take Brooke for us while we are out .  

Karla goes for her interview today , Keeping fingers crossed for her that she will get a call to go to work at the Group home in Tyne valley so she won’t have to far to travel. 

Brooke and I went shopping last evening, she got a new doll and I got a book called The Shack, looks like it will be a great read.

Brooke has started with this new laugh,  its so cute, I’m going to try to catch it on video and I’ll get Wendell to post it. 

She sure is entertaining LOL

Hi guys, here are the pictures I promised  Never noticed till I started posting them,,guess I could have moved the basket of laundry sitting in the kitchen. haha  So there you have it the kitchen, dininroom and livingroom all rearranged. 

plus a few of Brooke with her little piggytails.. haha (click on thumbnail to enlarge) as you can see, its not hard to tell when Brooke is here just look at the toys all over,

Well today I seemed to have had a little burst of energy. 

this morning I managed to do a half mile on the treadmill. and then Amanda came in for a visit. 

shortly there after Karla and Brooke arrived down. 

Brooke had a little accident one day last week.  She was visiting her Auntie Verna with her Nanna and she was standing by the cubboards and doing a little dance,, well she lost her footing and fell hitting her mouth on a cubboard door,, so now her left front tooth looks like its 2 little vampire teeth, did a complete upside down V in the center of the tooth. 

Ahh and so the bumps and bangs begin, there will be many more of those before she’s all grown up. her poor Nanna felt so bad , Karla said the poor woman came home with Brooke and looked like she was going to be sick she felt so bad about it.  But it was no one’s fault , those things will happen.  

Anyhoo after Karla left for work I pulled out the other playpen for Brooke to play in while I did some cleaning,, and I cleared out my kitchen and dining room.  the dinningroom is now all opened up , I pushed the table up to a wall so that the middle of the room is bare floor, this will give Brooke a little more “roaming room” to get around. and I took the table in the kitchen that is normally used as just a catch all and cleared it all off and moved it out from the corner so we can actually use it as a table to eat at if we want to. 

that sounds pretty easy eh?  but there was a lot of junk to move around in the progress to make room for the tables and stuff to stash away that used to be in those spots. not to mention the floors looked horribly dirty after all that moving stuff around so those needed to be cleaned as well. 

So just have to clean up the entry way and I’ll have the downstairs all rearranged and cleaned .. AGAIN.. LOL

With all this damp weather we’ve been getting we are being over run with earwigs and fruit flies !! thankfully no earwigs in the house but the fruit flies are a bit annoying !! 

Bobbie and Faye I will post some pictures soon of the new hair cut and the new set up for the kitchen and dining room.

Well those two days went by quickly, Had Brooke and Karla down for  a couple of days while Karla was working, she had today off so once she woke up her and Brooke headed home.  Not sure when I’ll have them again. Didn’t get Karla’s schedule and she wasn’t sure what days the other grammy would be babysitting so we’ll have to figure all that out later. 

I sure do miss them when they aren’t here !   Brooke is a going concern now she can travel like lighting !!  she won’t be to long before she’ll likely be up and walking !!  Monday will mark her 8 months of being here, unbelievable how fast the time goes by ! 

before we know it ,, it will be Christmas and her Birthday !! 

been lots of gray rainy days lately,, hopefully we’ll get a few more summery days before the end of the month hits !

Not much new happing here, I still haven’t done much with the flower beds, but I think if its fit tomorrow I’ll try to get out and get the front one dug up and ready for the bulbs that will be arriving in the next couple of weeks.

Been more rainy days then sunny days lately,, today at least it didn’t rain , but there was a heavy rain fall last night. 

The sun came out good and strong at times today but then would go back behind the clouds and get dark and dreary looking again. 

I decided this morning while vacuuming the living room that it was time for a change so when I started pulling the furniture out to get behind and vacuum I moved it all around again. So now the living room is all changed around and it just feels cleaner when you do that ! haha

after that Loralee and Amanda both stopped in , today was needle day for Loralee and Amanda was in for a quick visit. and then I headed out to walk down to the Harbour Quay where I got my hair all chopped off,, I went in and asked that she surprise me,, I wanted something different but had no idea of what I really wanted. so she gave me a fresh new look for me, nice and short, and what I would call the “messy look” but I love it !! 

While there I also decided to try the free demo they were giving on their new Vibe machines. Those things are AWSOME ! 

I think I’m going to join and pay the membership, its very reasonable and no contract to get into , just $50 a month, paying month to month, so if you decide in a month or 2 that you don’t want to do it anymore then you just don’t pay the next month. and its unlimited use, they are open 6 days a week even into the evening hours to accomidate all their clients so its perfect. 

this machine basically vibrates and you feel so energized when you get off it. it only takes 10 minutes of your time and you feel great after !  there are a bunch of benifits to it as well, it strengthens bones, helps for people with back pain or arthritis ect. and gives you a nice work out in the 10 minutes your on there. 

I’m going to try it for a month just to see how well it will do for me.  that along with the Simply for life diet that I have been doing which has been going fairly well , so far I’ve managed to drop 16 lbs in the last 8 or 9 weeks.  so I’m feeling much better and hopefully starting to look better.. haha

Brooke will be down to spend the night with us on Friday, we haven’t had her since last friday so its been a almost a week for us, and Gramma is missing her baby kisses !! can’t wait to see her again ! 

The superstore here now has a fairly big clothing section to it, and they have a lot of the summer clothes on sale, great prices, but I’m holding off buying anything until I’m down to my goal weight,, once I reach that I’ll go clothing shopping !
