Well since it was another rainy day here I decided to make a little design change here to the blog to give it new look, the old theme was starting to get a little old, so isn’t this damn rain!!!  Anyway I hope everyone likes the change, the picture at the top is one of my own I took about two weeks ago. Really wish the weather would clear up I want to get around with my new camera I got here just the other day, there is only so many things you can take pictures of indoors, below is a sample shot of Rudy that was taken with the new camera.

And here is another one of Brooke while having her evening bath.

I do believe our summer has arrived !! its been fairly warm the last few days,

in the last few days I’ve gotten two of the dogs bathed, clipped and trimmed. finished washing down the last of my walls, and today I got the front flower bed cleaned out . 

Also did a big laundry day and got to hang it on my line since I now have the do hicky to pull the line down to were I can reach it and actually get some use out of it !  

of course right after I FILLED the line, we got a nice thunder and rain semi storm. drenched the clothes. so they will be spending the night on the line and hopefully be dry tomorrow.

also did the usual vaccuming ect today. 

Karla and Brooke went home on Sunday they will be back Wednesday evening and will be staying for a while, Karla’s schedule is going to be crazy for a while so she’ll likely be staying down until that settles back down and that could bring her to about the middle of July.  She’ll make a trip home when she can but she’s working pretty much every night and at least 3 day shifts per week.

Well here we are ,, Hump day and its been a very productive week for me so far.
I did get in for my Xrays on my wrist, now its a wait and see game.

Monday I started trying to make meals to eat better, and so far so good on that, Monday evening Wendell and I went shopping and bought a new Vaccum, so on Tuesday I used it to give the carpets and mattress’s and furniture a good cleaning it works great !
Tuesday evening Wendell and i went to Ch’town he had recieved a gift card to Future shop from Kevin and Shan for fathers day and he had his eye on a new Xbox game he wanted so we went to get that, while we were down we went to walmart and picked up a new screened room for outside.with Brooke loving to be outside so much we needed something,, we’ve never had so many mesquitoes as we have this year ! even the poor dogs are minding them.
Today I started washing down my walls, got all the downstairs done and the hallway and up the stairs and the upstairs hall way as well,, tomorrow I do our bedroom , the spare room and the bathroom. and then at least all my walls will be clean ! I can’t do the ceilings it just hurts my wrist to much to get the angel needed on the handle of my vita mop.

At some point over the weekend I want to get the dogs all bathed, clip their nails and trim up their fur some. As well as get out and tend to the one flower bed out front that is in desperate need of some looking after, everything has spread so much that it really needs to be thinned out and weeded BADLY.
If the weather co operates at all I’ll get some of that done Saturday hopefully.

In between all that I was doing the usual , laundry, meals, dusting, ect.

not a lot to blog about today, but thought I’d put something here haha

Brooke is growing leaps and bounds, she surprised us by sitting up all by herself the other morning, we went in to get her out of her playpen and there she was sitting up pretty as you please talking to her teddybear!

she is about the happiest baby I have ever seen ! she has 3 teeth coming in on the top and still is happy and smiling all the time !

Karla is working hard, putting in her time for her OJT at a group home in Tyne Valley and then working evenings at the race track and the legion on the weekends.  so we get to enjoy our little princess quite a bit. 

I’ve finally gotten my call to go for my X Ray on my wrist, I go tomorrow morning so we’ll see what they say.

I’ve started today on a new me , will let you know how that goes as the weeks go by

counting down the days until Shan and then Kevin arrive home for a visit. can’t wait to see them both !

I spent most of the day yesterday cleaning the downstairs and making meals to freeze ahead for a week or so. today I tackle the upstairs.

Not sure where our summer weather disappeared to  but its been quite cool the last few days !! 

I have about half of my Iris’s in bloom right now. and my Hosta’s are getting really BIG.

Karla took Brooke to the pool today,, she had a BALL !! that child LOVES the water!! didn’t get any still pictures but I did video tape the whole 33 minutes that she was in there splashing around dipping her face in the water. and then laughing .

She will definately be going again soon!

Other than the usual enjoying our Grandbaby not much new here, Brooke is such a joy to have around, she is a real little social butterfly too, haha anyone stops to talk to her she will show off those 2 shiny teeth in a big smile. She has 3 more coming in 2 have broken thru the gum the 3rd is just about there.

a while back I had done a bunch of house cleaning (wow wonder of all wonders I was cleaning AGAIN) and a day or so later my right wrist started bothering me, I thought maybe I pulled a ligiament or something so I didn’t think to much of it or rush right to the dr about it, after all other than tell me to wrap it and take tylanol what was he going to do right ? well 2 weeks later and still no better matter of fact its getting worse and starting to pain up my arm. So called the dr, he’s booked up can’t get in for another week or more,, decided i would go to the new walk in clinic and get them to maybe tell me the proper wrist wrap I should be wearing..

wellllll,, first I got the growl for leaving it for so long and then he felt around the wrist and informed me I broke a little bone in there somehow !! no wonder it was sore !! and I crocheted 2 baby blankets before finding this out, so I imagine the whole repeatitive motion of that did it a world of good as well :p

anyway I’m suppose to go for an x ray to be sure the bone is not completely broken off, if it has it will need to be removed. that was Wednesday and I still haven’t heard from the hospital on when I go for my x ray. If nothing heard by Monday I’ll call and see what is going on.

In the meantime the splint wrap I’m suppose to wear, well it makes the pain WORSE is guess because i’m not able to move the wrist around so its forcing things back to where they belong? dunno but I know it actually feels better without the wrap,, other than those times when I reach for something or go to pick up soemthing and that searing pain goes up my arm to my elbow to remind me that its there !!

anyway,, other than that not much new.. OHH I have some red roses blooming and some iris’s have bloomed as well !!
