looks like its going to be a nice sunny day out there today,

Karla and Brooke are down for the night, Karla has classes this morning and works tonight.

That little girl just amazes me She is soooo the apple of Grammy’s eye

Hopeing to get a little gardening done this weekend. almost everything is out in bloom right now, the rose bushes are filling out and have little buds coming for the flowers so won’t be long before I have some roses !YEAH!
my peonies are growing like mad I swear they grown close to 3 inches a day !

Other than the usual housecleaning and trying to get outside when its not raining, I’ve been working on another blanket for our newest addition, baby Jake.There will be a shower for him on Sunday so I have to get this blanket finished up fast Here is a little snapshot of him and mommy and daddy

its an absolutly beautiful day outside today, Karla and Brooke left this morning to head home.
We’ll see them again bright and early tomorrow morning,

Wendell and I took the boys to Belmont park for a little run they had an awsome time. ran so hard they both plopped down under a tree for a much needed rest.

Now I’m off to haul my patio furniture out of the building and clean it off so we can sit out on the deck and enjoy the nice sunshine .

Well its been a bit damp around here lately with all the rainy weather.

But today Brooke and I headed out dispite the rain.  She absolutly loves being outside. so we put the plastic weather protector over the stroller and away we went.  we were gone about 2 hours and she talked and laughed pretty much the whole time.

We stopped at the library and got some good bedtime books she will enjoy those as she loves to have her stories read to her while she helps turn the pages

This evening Wendell went and picked up a highchair that was on www.usedpei.com  its in great shape and was only $40 not bad for something that looks like it is almost brand new !

Karla and Brooke have been staying with us the last 2 weeks and we are enjoying every minute of it !  I am charishing every moment with my girls!!  

My nephew and his wife had their first baby this evening. Jacob Scott was born at 6 pm this evening weighing in at 7 lbs 10 ozs.  I’ll go up to see them tomorrow evening and hopefully get some pictures to post .

Last night Karla was playing with Brooke and she started with the big laughs , I got out the camcorder and got  a few minutes of it on tape, I just love the sound of a baby’s laughter !!

She loves the dogs too, everytime they walk by her she has the biggest smile on her face and if they stop to sniff or lick her hand  she laughs and squeals with delight.  She is even starting to figure out that if she has a cookie in her hand and she hold it out they will come over to her.  Too darn smart for her own good !!

Wendell and I didn’t get away for our few days  that we had thought about doing but that was because we used some of the “get away money” for the camcorder.

I have picked my day to start Simply for Life I am starting June 2nd.  still have to call and get my consultation yet but I’m planning on that being my join up date.

Tomorrow morning Karla and I take Gizmo in for his checkup to see how the vet thinks he’s doing since his surgery last summer.  so far so good nothing seems to be bothering him, I noticed a few more growths and he is quite swollen where they are but they don’t seem to bother him.  So we’ll see what she says.

Other than that not much new on this end. Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend.
