Where oh Where is Spring ???

even the animals are getting fed up !!

I am ready for some NICE WARM weather !! I want to be able to get out and start cleaning up my flower beds !! get things all ready for the flowers to start coming up and peaking thru the ground !! to see the first spring blooms !!

Thank Goodness I have the most beautiful baby in the world to help pass the time until Spring time decides to finally come along.

Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend !! I will be spending the rest of the week enjoying every minute I can with this sweet little bundle of joy because after this week I’m back to work and it will be a few weeks before I get to see her everyday again.

in the meantime folks lots of “good vibes” going out for some nice spring like weather !!

Time is wizzing by

Wow the time flies by when I’m off work !! Karla has today thru to Monday off for “march break” since they don’t usually do march break they just gave them an extra day over the Easter weekend. Brooke is a joy to have around, She makes it so easy to get up and get going in the morning!! We are going to have her for a sleepover on Saturday while Karla and Earl get away for the night for Karla’s birthday.

Not a whole lot to talk about today, just thought I would update the blog so you wouldn’t think I fell of the face of the earth. Gizmo is having a hard time , last night he made a big mess,, if you remember last summer he had surgery on his bottom for tumors,, well we were told then that at some point he would not be able to control his bowels ,, well its happening,, looks like he’ll have to go for his final vet visit soon.

Here is a little something that was in our local paper today,, you know money in the form of actual money is becoming obsolete when this happens.

I went to the Sears office at Murphy’s Pharmacy in Kensington to place an order for my grandson in Logan Lake, B.C., which was a wagon for his birthday. The lady at the Sears office was very nice and took the time to take out the Wish Book and found the item, filled in the order sheet and phoned in the order. She told the person on the phone that it was a cash sale. When she returned to the counter, she said ‘I am sorry, but cash is not accepted, it has to be credit card’. I don’t use credit card or plastic money. It’s always been cash for me.
In all my sales and travelling, I have never been refused use of cash money before. I don’t know who she spoke to in Halifax that stated no cash was accepted. After I told a couple of people about my episode, they both offered credit cards for me to use I said no. I wouldn’t give the satisfaction of ordering from Sears.
