Whoo hooo Friday is here again, the down side to this ? its the last day of August which means we are now heading into fall !

Where did the summer go ???

Big Brother is winding down, this will be a double eviction week, only 18 more days until the final show. Who do you want to win ?

anyone have any plans for the long weekend?  ours will be pretty quiet , planing on heading up to Karla’s tomorrow for the day.

Well Barb got out of hospital today, they did the stress test and she got along well with that so she is now back home

where she can be more comfortable!

Loralee and Amanda and I watched some movies last night, we had Wild Hoggs (FUNNY) and Perfect Stranger, wasn’t as impressed with perfect stranger. It was a good movie just not what I thought it would be.

today Wendell and I took Tango out to Sunnybrook farms and got him and Giz some treats. while we were there I tried some “doggy hats” on Tango,, haha he actually looks really cute in a hat! have a look and see what you think,, is he a John Deer man or what ! click on the thumbnails to see the bigger pictures.

Nick and DJ were in for a quick visit today.

other than that not much going on.

don’t you just hate when the phone rings and you answer it only to hear ,, sorry I have the wrong number ?

apparently we have a number that is very common one the 888, 436, 432, or 439 exchanges..

We’ve gotten calls for “wrong numbers” at all times of the day and night ! and this morning I got a wake up call from someone calling not once , not twice but THREE times !!

PLEASE people look up the number BEFORE you dial it !

Karla was in for her 1st Dr visit with her new “baby doctor” yesterday, everything is going along very well lots of movement happening and heartbeat is great !

My niece Barb is back in ICU she had been having pains and using her Nitro spray quite often the last week or so , so she called and asked if she should go in, they told her to come right in, once in the hospital for her checkup they put her on complete bedrest, seems she could have the makings of a clot in one of the heart valves. so she will be in bed being monitored for a few days and if the pain continues to come like it had been she will have to go to Halifax for the dye test and possibly another stint (she has 2 now). The reason they aren’t doing the dye test until they absolutely have to is she also has Kidney problems and the dye is very hard on the kidneys so the test could leave her having to be on dialises (sp?) or worse.

So the dye test is really a last resort for her.

Hopefully things will clear up and she will not have to have the testing done. its been 2 and a half years since her heart attack and we almost lost her then.

not a lot of other news to update on at the moment, everything has been relatively quiet which is good!

yesterday was Karla’s ultra sound, Earl and I accompied her and got to see the little one “swimming” around

The baby now weighs 1 full pound and according to the ultra sound Karla is 21 weeks and 5 days. which changes her due date to

my birthday!! Dec 17 is the new date

What a great b’day that would be to have our 1st grandbaby on that day

of course only the little one will know when he/she will be making an appearance LOL .

Today DJ is coming down for a visit, and I want to get out to have a visit with Viv.. Tonight we’re planning on attending a

gathering at Shirley and Jason’s . Bon fire !! whoohoo

tomorrow we’re heading up to Karla and Earls for a visit.

Gizmo was back to the vet to have his stitches removed, he got along wonderfully, the vet was Very pleased with how well he healed.

Rented a couple movies last night.. Montana Sky and Disturbia,, both were good movies.
