another cool day out there,

yesterday I painted up a little wheelbarrow my brother made for me to plant flowers in , and planted a few more seeds to go into said wheelbarrow.

I took some pictures of my flower beds so I’m going to post them on here,, not a lot of news to post about so I’ll give you pictures instead (click on the thumbnail to see the bigger picture)

got a hanging bag and filled it with soil and put in some hummingbird plants.

The only thing I’m sure of in there is the Hostas.. the rest

are anyone’s guess !!

Hosta’s and “what-nots” we’ll see what it all turns out to be as it blooms!! some sweat peas planted in the hanging baskets and along the trellis hopefully they will “climb” all over it.

So between last night and today,, all the flowerbeds have had a face lift or been completely dug up and replanted.

but now its allllll done !! haha

Well today was a great day to be outside,  not overly hot a nice cool breeze going and the temp stayed around 17 degree’s so

all round a good day for outside.

So today we went up to Canadian Tire and bought a pump and got the bike tires all pumped up,  and then Loralee and I went to the green house and picked up a few seedlings and I got them planted in the window boxes (actually hung the planters on the side of the deck) and a couple pots . in the window boxes we put Fuchsia and some small white blooms , the fuchsia is the red and purple combination so it will look really nice with the white flowers.. one planter has the white ones on each end with a fuchsia in the middle and the other has the fuchsia on each end and the white in the middle. once the fuchsia starts to bloom I’ll get some pictures they should be really pretty together.  Then in the big pots I put some Pansy’s , purples and blues and some with white mixed in thru the purple or blue.

After we got that all done Tammy stopped in for a visit so I had a sit down with her on the deck and then we went to the store and picked up a frozen pizza for supper.

After supper Lora and I went for a bike ride and then once we got back from that we took Tango and headed up to Friendship park for a nice long stroll thru the woods.

all in all a nice way to spend a lazy Sunday 

Tomorrow I have to throw myself into housework and get some floors scrubbed and the bedroom cleaned and dusted.

We just recently got the papers for Tango and got the full information on his Mom & Dad, so I thought I would post their pictures here.

 I can’t get over how cold it is !! I guess spoiled by the nice weather we had while away, but come on ,, Mother Nature your  joke has gone far enough, its almost the end of May !  Lets turn the heat on !!

I want to get out to my flower beds,, they need to be weeded and cleaned up a bit,  I did get my seeds planted in the house , so another 5 weeks or so and they will be ready to plant in the beds.

I have a flower bed that I need to dig up its been empty for a couple years now but the stuff that was in it before formed all kinds of roots so the whole bed is root bound, that will be a chore to clean up !!

While we were away our TIVO acted up and I didn’t get any of my season finale’s so now Wendell has to try to find them and download them for me

Filed my new EI claim on Monday, so hopefully that won’t be to long getting going.

Wendell is back to work again but he’s not impressed with the cold !  We want Summer to come now!

Tango is happy to be home,  and he likes the new toy we brought home for him.

Giz enjoyed having the house to himself and Karla while we were gone now he’s back to “putting up” with his new brother. but I think he missed  him too:)

Karla is finding she is very tired a lot now, so she’s getting some extra sleep, not keeping the long hours she normally does.

So we’re getting back into a routine again.
