today we had a lazy day,, I did some reading and mindless tv watching and the dogs did this.

This evening I decorated a bird house,, here is the finished project

hummm can you tell we like Tim Hortons ?? only a few coffee cups around.. LOL

Made some changes so that it uses a flash file to stream.

today was the baby shower for Tammy and baby Alex, lots of laughs and great food, and lots of great gifts.

Good time was had by all.

Wendell took Tango over to the park earlier this morning while the mud was still fairly frozen and another lady was there with her golden lab Molly so Tango and Molly had a great visit and got a good run in.

After that Giz and I went over to visit Loralee, I try to make sure Giz gets as much one on one with me as Tango does so theres no jealousy issues and they have done very well so I guess its working.

I’m going to have to get my nose into the books soon I have quite a few to read !!

right now I’m working on one of T. J. MacGregor’s and I have a few coming in to the library I’ve put in requests for a few oldies but goodies , some of the ones I have coming in are, “To Kill a Mocking bird”, “the Adventures of Huckleberry Fin” and a couple other ones on a list I found on line on a site entitled 101 books you should read before you die.

along with the library books I also have a few borrowed books from family members, from Viv I have “Marley and me” “the measure of a man” and another one with 3 stories in one book its a chrismasy one I think.. then I have a couple of Loralee’s books here as well. So I have a bit of reading to get done!!

What a beautiful day it was out today !! plus 6 !! spent some time outside picking the little sticks and debree out of the flower beds, it was to mucky to get in there and do any real work but I did putter around there for a while.

Hopefully we’ll get a few days of wind and sun and the muck will dry up relatively quickly.

Then one of the girls from work stopped in for our lunch date, we had a little bite to eat and chatted a while then she had to rush back to work,

Loralee was over today Her , I and Tango walked over to the post office TWICE the first time we got just about there and I realized I forgot the letters home on the table!!

Tammy was in for a visit this afternoon, had a little visit with her .

Finished up another baby blanket today, will start on another one shortly.

This evening Wendell and I took the boys to the park, Giz and I spent most of the time just walking around the buildings on the pavement the park is just to mucky for him and he’s got such short little legs he’d be to full of mud.. besides it gave him a little one on one with me for a while.

Tango and Wendell went in the park and got some playtime in.

Now the boys are in the entry way drying off, We’ll have to brush them out after they dry some.

I was watching Rachael Ray today and she made Cowboys Chili Spaghetti with cheese sauce it looked so good, I went and got the few ingredients I didn’t have in the house and I’ll make it tomorrow for supper.
