eye exams

Well today , Wendell , Karla and I went for our eye exams, Karla and I had no change in our prescriptions, Wendell needs new glasses though, so after our exams we headed over to Vogue for Wendell to pick out his frames .

Its been a pretty wintery day today and last night, we finally have some snow that is actually staying around, although we didn’t get the storm we were warned about ( which is fine with me!).

Loralee was up to the hospital for a consult and ended up going for an EKG and more blood work, seems her blood pressure is pretty high so they want her to get back in to see her Dr and they are sending the paperwork for him as they think she should be on blood pressure med’s  for hyper-tension and Thyroid meds as well.

She wasn’t too impressed with that, more pills to take each day, right now she takes about 16 per day,

Hopefully in the near future she’ll be weaned off some of them.

I have the baby blanket almost finished, 2 more evenings will likely finish it up, got 2 balls of yarn used up and 1 to go.

I want to have it done by Friday, because Saturday I’ll be busy most of the day getting groceries bought and getting the house ready for the shower on Sunday and getting the regular stuff done up (laundry ect).

Next week I’ll get working on the other 2 afghans I’m working on. still picking away at the one I’m crow-hooking and have another one on the go with straight crocheting.

Amanda and Calleigh got out of hospital yesterday, they are adjusting to being home, and the baby is getting LOTS of lovin’ from her brothers and sister !!
