Decided today I was going to have a “sick” day, well I did wake up with a sinus headache and thought , I haven’t used any sick time yet so I’m taking the day off.

So after I got up around and got the headache pretty much under control, I got into doing some things that I’ve wanted to get done for a while now…

got my dishes washed up, laundry in the washer, tidied up the downstairs and our bedroom then I got the steam cleaner out and cleaned the livingroom, hall way and our bedroom carpets and the hall upstairs.

After that I got the downstairs floors scrubbed up, put a roast in the oven took the garbage out, hung the new shower curtain got some dusting done, and windexed all my pictures on the walls.

Now I’m just having my coffee and waiting for Loralee to come over to have a nice visit, its only 10:30 so we’ll get a chance to have a nice afternoon visit, we haven’t really had a good visit for a while, seems when we get together its always to run errands so this will be nice just a sit and chat and have coffee visit.

Next Monday is her check up in Halifax , hopefully that will go really well and she will be able to start coming off some of the steriods and stuff. Shirley is taking us over , THANK YOU SHIRL !! your such a sweetie !!

Thanks to Shirley we’ll only be gone that day, we’ll leave around 3:30 am and should be home around 9 pm or so, which is great, the only other option we had was to take the shuttle over on Sunday, and do all the appointments monday (getting a room Sunday night) and then staying again Monday night and taking the shuttle back on Tuesday morning.

not only costly but a long ole time away, verses 1 day. So we really can’t thank Shirley enough for offering to take us. !!

Well the weekend is upon us once again Yea!!

dont’ have a lot of plans for this weekend, pretty quiet, am going to do a little cleaning and a load or two of laundry, take Loralee up to the drug store to fill the rest of her perscriptions that she wasn’t able to fill the other day when she was there, finish up filling in our passport applications, go get our passport pictures taken. and hopefully sometime this weekend meet up with Viv and Shelton for a visit and try to figure out excately when and where we want to go on our trip.

only 5 weeks of work left for me and I ‘ll be home everyday again!! At that time I’ll start doing the BIG cleaning,, cubboards, closets ect. maybe even rearranging a room or two

 1. I tend to “rush” in everything I do, be it cleaning or walking or shopping for groceries.

2. I tend to start a mulitude of projects and then some never get finished.

3.I eat healthy 90 % of the time but still have a weight problem.

4.I love a good movie night but don’t have them very often.

5. prefer my friends to come visit me, rather than me go out to visit.

6. dream of winning the lottery so I can have a custom made home with cubboards and shelves built for

a short person like me!! ( I’d finally be able to reach things in the cubboard without the assistance of a chair).

Amanda and Calleigh were in last night for a visit, I’ll post some pic’s here for you to see.

Haven’t been up to much lately other than work and the usual stuff, not sure where the hours go in the day but there sure doesn’t seem to be enough of them to go around !!

Well Friday was a little slow at work so I took a half hour vacation time and came home early.

Didn’t do a whole lot other than get a start on the laundry and stuff,

Saturday Donna Jean came down and we spent the day browsing the stores, we got some GREAT buys at Northern Reflections !! I got Donna Jean’s birthday gift, Vivians Birthday gift, Wendells Mom’s Xmas gift and Viv’s Christmas Gift all bought while we were there, now just as long as no one loses a lot of weight before xmas we’re ok !!

With what I got yesterday and the stuff I got at English Butler right after Christmas, I have a good dent made in next Christmas’s shoping done !!

Donna Jean and I spent the whole day and most of the evening shopping (browsing) the stores, then we popped in to visit Loralee for a little while and then came home around 10 pm and got ready to watch our movies we rented, Both were good movies !!

Must love dogs and Take the lead, we enjoyed the both of them, although we didn’t finish watching them until 3:30 this morning !!

Then we were up at 10:30 and made pancakes and bacon for breakfast, and then DJ had to head home shortly after that, so I got a few things on the go to get ready for the Shower.

We had a good turn out for the shower, about 10-12 guests showed up, lots of gifts for the little one and she was a complete doll the whole time sleeping thru it all

Megan helped mommy open the gifts and look after baby, she sure loves her baby sister!!

Everyone left by 4 and we got supper over with,, Loralee made a big dish of homemade baked beans so we had that for supper.

then I took Loralee home and came back home and had a nice hot shower and threw another load of laundry in, now I’m going to do a little crocheting and then go to bed early!!
