How long will it take you after the new year to be able to get the year RIGHT when writting it down ? I know it will take me a while before I’ll be writting 2007 without first crossing out the 2006 that will be on the paper before I think of it !
What is everyone’s plans for New years eve ? We didn’t make any plans, other than to try to have a nice quiet evening at home .
Amanada’s (our niece) little guy broke his leg the other day, sledding down a hill, poor little guy, he’s got a cast from the top of his leg to his toes !! He’ll be going on crutches for the next 3 weeks and then they’ll put a smaller cast on just below the knee. Amanda is also due to have her baby any day now, she’s hoping for a new years baby 
Last night I took Loralee to get her hair cut and get a few groceries, dropped Jen and Jaycee off at the mall to do their thing while Lora was getting her hair cut, after that we dropped out to Amanda’s for a quick coffee before heading home at 8:00.
Once home I got the bathroom cleaned and started this weeks laundry and got the new set of sheets washed up that I bought the other day at zellers, and got them put on the bed, got most of the decorations put away, just have to take the tree down today.
So today I’ll take the tree down and clean up the house put the christmas gifts away and then Lora and I have to go uptown again, we’re going to get a bag of potatoes from the warehouse where they are a little cheaper. and also go to the bulk barn to get some of the special flour she needs for baking, we’re going to try to experiment a little with the muffin mix she found that she likes, we’re thinking if we mix half the mix with the other flours (which is a decent price at the bulk barn) it will give her twice the amount and stretch her $ a little further.
So since its now just past 1 I really should get at my work or I’ll never finish it all today !!

After not doing anything on Tuesday, (the day I was sick) I got just a bit of decorations down through the week. Thursday I got the tree out and vaccuuming done before heading to town. Today I went all out, had to make myself stop! Still some dusting etc. I’d like to do but I did really well even got the fridge cleaned out (gross!)
New Year’s Eve we just plan a quiet evening at home. Medium is a new episode so that’s what I’ll be doing, watching it! I don’t know if I’ll even stay up ’til midnight, I work in the morning then we’ll be cooking Turkey dinner.

my grandaughter will be having her sleep over with me it is also so nice having her around,we will watch a movie and watch the new years from Halifax,just maybe I will get her to help take down the Christmas decorations,gee where did the week go it just seems like yeaterday I was getting the tree up.hope you have a great weekend Ellen.
We have no big plans for New Years Eve either. We’ll just go outside at midnight and bang the pot lids like we usually do. I hope 2007 will be a good year for us all.
