Well its all over for another year !!
Yesterday Wendell and I enjoyed a quiet lazy day we didn’t even get out of our PJ’s all day. That was nice!!
Today we got up bright and early and headed to Ch’town to bring the car in for repairs,, we dropped the car off around 8:30 and got our “loaner” car and headed out to enjoy the day, we made stops at Wendell’s work where I met some of the guys he works with and seen his office, then we were on our way to browse around the stores, first stop was the Brick, we picked out a nice new couch that was half price, that will be delivered on the 11th , we’re pretty happy with that purchase, after that we headed to pets unlimited, cuddled with the bunnies and looked at all the fish, then we went to the new Boston Pizza in town for lunch, and then up to Future shop and the english butler, where I managed to get a bunch of things for friends for next Christmas 
we stopped at zellers and got a few more good buys in there and were able to scratch off a couple more names from the list for next christmas as well.
all in all a pretty enjoyable day, we didn’t rush at all and just looked around and enjoyed the day.
Our Christmas was wonderful, Karla got her dad a camera for the xbox and we hooked it up and Kev hooked his up and we had a virtual Christmas with Kev and Shan we watched them open gifts and they were able to watch us open ours. was the next best thing to having them home !!

Hi Ellen,wow you sure are organized like the girls said,I use to do that but I always ended up buying all over again when Nov rolled around,I didn’t get out to the stores yet just getting the house back to normal I plan on going tomorrow happy to hear you had a great Christmas.wishing you and your family a wonderful day

You shopped at all the stores that I was at doing this years shopping. As Bobbie said, you sure are organized to get such a big start on next years shopping!
That sounded like such a nice alternative way to have Kevin and Shanna with you for Christmas!
I haven’t been on-line since before Christmas. Spending time with the kids and my dad then on boxing day I was struck down with a virus, first I though it was exhaustion but as I got worse throught the day I couldn’t even lift my head and just camped out on the couch. Yesterday I could sit up and was able to head out to the church. I felt I could sit at the computer there for a few hours in the afternoon but there was no way I was able to do my own housework let alone the guys in the morning!

You sure are organized – buying gifts for next Christmas already! Sounds like you got some good buys for your home too.
It seems that Christmas day goes by so quickly after all the planning goes into it.
