weather has been hot the last couple of days, thankfully there has been a little wind to keep things bearable !!

Actually got out of work at 5 today !! Whoohoo,, came home and BBQ’d some chicken and steaks and potatoes,, then after supper took a walk down to the boardwalk and did a little reading on my book, it was quite breezy down there so didn’t stay too long ended up coming home and sitting on the deck to read a little more.

Karla and I went for icecream this evening we brought Gizmo along with us and gave him a little dish of the cool stuff ,, he lapped it up like crazy :)   Giz loves his ice cream :)

DJ was down yesterday , instead of our usual shopping we decided to walk the boardwalk and look at all the little shops, I bought a ring for myself ,, (big $5 purchase) and that was about all the money I spent really other than we went out for lunch .

Tomorrow I work 2 to 7 with any luck I’ll be able to get out of work on time again.

Karla went to the beach today and got quite a burn, she’s pretty red looking.  she cleaned the house up nice for me before I got home from work, THANK YOU Karla !!

Tomorrow she has a pretty full day,, she has her meeting with the lady down at manpower in the morning and then she’s off to ch’town for her last meeting with Compu College,

Wendell got his LCD Big Screen TV the other day, not sure if he is going to keep this one or not there is another one that he is looking at that he likes better, has more features that he was hoping for so we may exchange it for the other one,, a little more money but if he’s going to have it , he might as well have the one he really wants.  This is his little gift to himself after all the stress of waiting for word on his job.

Weather network is calling for sever Thunder storms for most of Ontario, we could use a little thunder storm to clear the air as well.

This was me Monday !!

A lovely way to spend the day

today, I slept in :)   after I got up around I woke Karla and we headed west, went up to Cape Wolf to visit DJ (Nick had to work) we spent a little while there then the 3 of us girls headed in to West Point to take Karla to show her all the wonderful changes that have been made to my old home place, the folks who bought it did some wonderful work to the house and grounds, its absolutly beautiful, a nice rustic cabin feel to the house , Karla was quite impressed with it, then we wondered over to Tonys for  a quick visit, he took Karla on the 4 wheeler down to the dunes to have a little ride, after they got back DJ, Karla and I headed to the Westpoint Lighthouse for some dinner/supper , after that we headed back to DJ’s , Nick was home by then so we had a little visit with him and then Karla and I headed home, once home I found out Viv had been looking for me to join her at the movies so I called Loralee to ask her if she’d like to go and her and I headed to the theater to watch “The Break Up ” not a bad movie.

so now its 9 pm and I’m finally home for the evening,, and am going to jump in the shower and then curl up with a good book.

Tomorrow Karla and I head off to Ch’town so she can do her thing with student services about her student loan and stuff. Hopefully that will move along smoothly for her and things will fall into place for her to start when the class’s are ready to go next month.

Tuesday DJ is coming down and we’re going to do a walking date,,, haha we’re going to walk the boardwalk and have a look at the shops along spinnikers landing and then go have lunch.

Ohh and I Forgot to tell you all,,, Wendell got his call on Friday,, He’s got his job !! So there is a big weight of worry off his shoulders now.
