Morning Person

For those of you who are not morning people, here is a little funny poem for you.

Morning Poem

I woke early one morning
the earth lay cool and still
when suddenly a tiny bird
perched on my window sill
he sang a song so lovely
so carefree and so gay
That slowly all my troubles
began to slip away
he sang of far off places
of laughter and of fun,
it seemed his very trilling
brought up the morning sun
I stirred beneath the covers
Crept slowly out of bed
Then gently shut the window
and crushed his friggin head.
I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON.

Oh too funny, and yes I am very much a morning person. But must admit that sometimes I can be wee bit cranky when having to get up!

    Love the poem though…. *giggle*

Wendell is a morning person, I can be if I have something to do, but we’re both night owls as well so if I don’t have to set the alarm I likely won’t be up before 8:30 or 9.

Poor birdy! I AM a morning person and love to hear, first a white-throated sparrow, then followed shortly by a robin!
Are you a morning person or nighthawk? My husband would rather stay up past midnight and then rise at 10 am!
