I finally figured it out, thanks to Garfield the cat !! This explains everything!!

Well its a rainy day today, so we stayed basically indoors, we spent 3 hours cleaning the fish tank. And Outcaste (Karla’s Cat)Thanks us for doing so, why you may ask,, Wellll he managed to scoop up one of the little fish and have it for a snack before we caught him. After we realized he had himself a little snack we moved the fish to the cubboard in the kitchen while we finished working on cleaning the rocks and accessories in the tank, then we proceeded to put things back in the tank, this of course ment the fish were left alone in the kitchen, guess who snuck in there and tried to get another tastey morsel for himself?? Wendell caught him tho, he had the fish out of the bowl and it was on the counter, we thought it was dead but nope he survived !!
So in the end Outcaste ended up with only 1 fish for his afternoon snack

So I guess I’ll run up to Walmart and pick up another one of the little fish since there was only 2 of them and they play together alot, the one left behind will likely find it quite lonesome without his mate.

In looking back the fish have done very well, we have lost a total of 4 fish (including the one the cat ate) since January and they were all the little cheap ones. We still have the 2 big Parrott fish and a total of 9 little guys ( a mixture of 5 different kinds) and the algea eater, who by the way is getting hugh!!

So that was our exciting day, cleaning the fish tank and resucing the fish from the cat!! LOL
