Well this evening I went down and picked up tickets to go to the Canada day dance so that will be a nite out next friday nite, and I’ve been looking at some of the summer activites that will be going on all summer.

I intend to try and take in some of the events this year, we seldom do any of them so I want to get a few in, Wendell wants to take in a ball game since we are hosting the world softball games this year so hopefully we will get a game or 2 in as well, also in July is an evening at Green Shore, starting at 7 see bonfires bobbing in the water and then at dusk a movie on the beach !! that should be a nice evening. (weather permitting).

Of course there are the usual boat races, talent contests and such, want to get some of those in as well.

What are your plans for the Canada Day weekend??

Dinner theater

Well this evening a few girls got together and went out to the dinner theater here in town. we had a great time. I am always amazed at the many talents of the people putting the show on (while serving the meal and cleaning up after each course). They all played each instrument on stage and there were 5 instruments to play!! now there is talent !! Waiter/Waitressing, musical instruments, acting and keeping a straight face when your saying your lines and the whole place is cracking up with laughter.

Definately a great way to spend the evening. and the food was wonderful!! I had the Salmon with dill sauce, medally of veggies, and garlic smashed potatoes. there was also salad, mussles and dessert of course. and as always their famous homemade bread.

It was a very pleasent evening to say the least. If your in the Summerside area be sure to stop at the Brothers Two and catch the show, Seperate Housewives. Very entertaining and the food is GREAT !!

Happy Hump day to all !!
