Well its the end of another weekend, what did we accomplish this weekend? not much Basically a fairly quite one.

Yesterday was my friend Rhoda’s Birthday , HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!!  We were suppose to go out last night but she wasn’t feeling well.    But we’ll go to see a show soon we want to see Madagascar.

Tomorrow I will be waiting around for the Fed Ex guy to come by to pick up a package for Wendell, he was here on Friday but I had left for a total of a half hour and guess who showed up in that half hour!! grrr..

Tuesday my sister is moving into her new apt. here in town, this will be a new experience for her, she has a real problem with direction and has a hell of a time to find her way around town here. LOL

Kevin is going to hang his dad, last night they were at a wedding party and the guys wanted to know what Kevin’s 3rd name was and he wouldnt’ tell them ( he doesn’t like his 3rd name) so they called here and Wendell answered the phone, and TOLD them what it was. I’m sure they let him know they found out and how they came to find out. HAHA

So just for the record Kev, it wasn’t me that gave it away!!

I bought a juicer over the weekend. Wanted to try it out and see if I could maybe get more fruits and veggies into my daily foods if I was able to drink them

I’ll give it a try tomorrow and see what kinds of things I can juice that will make nice drinks.

anyone else juice their fruits and veggies to get the daily amount needed in your diet ??

Well Monday was our teams 2nd day of yard sales at Callbecks, it went really well, even with the cold windy weather! all in all another good day.

Once home I got to work digging up the last flower bed, and putting in my Iris’s, Hosta’s and crocis, that Tammy gave me, so those are all planted as well as the other items I had removed from the beds to get the beds ready , so all that stuff if finally back in the ground, today I recieved the last of my order from Vessys seeds, so I now have 10 more Hosta’s and 8 Phlox to get into the ground, after that its just whatever comes up in my greenhouse to go in. but that stuff won’t be planted for another couple of weeks.

the only thing I really have left to “dig up” is around my rose bushes and behinde them, I ‘ll put a couple of Hostas behind them and a few little flowers around the base of the rose bushes.  I want to try to fill that area in so that the Whippersnipper doesn’t have to get in there to close to any plants.

Karla went to Turo over the weekend, she had a good time at a Punk’d show.  So that was a little test drive of the new car on a longer trip.

Amanda and I watched White noise the other night, it was a good movie especially when you consider it was based on actual events.

today DJ and are are going to have a girls day, a little shopping and a movie

Our Team for the relay had a big Yard sale today at a local hardware store, we made in profit $980 !! Great success for the team and its not over yet, we’ll be doing it again on Monday along with hotdog sales and a spin the wheel for prizes which will raise even more!!

Great going to all the Slicers !!!!  Here’s hoping for even Half that much success on Monday !

and we still have our Texas Hold em next weekend which will likely bring in another couple hundred or so.

Why is it you have to make SUCH a mess to clean a room ???

I am doing some deep cleaning, moving stuff and whatnot, HOLY my house is a shambles while doing this!

Karla is a happy camper today, she picked up her car, got the insurance on it and got it licenced and registered today so she is on the road enjoying the new car.

she got to see just how fast $4100 can be spent. HAHA.

Nick and DJ was down today didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time with them, Wendell was busy at work today so I went with Karla to do the stuff to get her car on the road so it would be ready for her to use tonight to get herself to work.

But while Nick and DJ were here I gave Nick my old cell phone and we went to get it set up for him with a pay as you go , anyway we get up to the mall where Aliant has their little set up for the cell phones.. and there was a young kid working there who has YET to acknowledge us.  We waited for about 45 minutes and he hadn’t even looked our way, even if he could have said I’ll be right with you or SOMETHING just acknowledge that you have clients in your store for pete’s sake!! so we left there and went down to the Aliant office to get the phone done there,, again we waited but at least they DID acknowledge that we were there so when we finally got waited on I let them know that the guy at their location in the mall who’s name tag says Pat, really needs to have some customer service training.  They took note of it writing it down now wether he’ll get spoken to or not ………..

Nick and DJ also did some shopping at the Kool Breeze farms and picked up some rose bushes and stuff, they are going to be very nice when they start blooming, my rose bushes are both red, but after seeing the yellow one’s , I’d like a yellow one now too

Also noticed some blueberry bushes there and some grape and kiwi trees those would be nice to have, ohh if I had my own place I’d have them  

its been a beautiful day here today, but I hear they are saying we’re going to have SNOW on Friday!!    WTF is that all about ??? IS IT NOT SPRING ?????

well while its still very nice out I think I’ll go and get my other seeds planted into the planters so I can start setting them out on the deck as well.
