While out and about this morning having my regular morning Tim’s coffee I took a little look around down on the water front, and discovered that the Summerside Fire Department have once again this year put a car out on the ice in the harbour. Now you are saying to yourself why and the heck is the Fire Department putting a car out on the ice, well each year the Summerside Firefighters Assocation do a fundraiser, so they put a car on the ice in the harbour and sell tickets to people guessing when the ice will melt enough for the car to fall through and sink.

Well yesterday was the first day of spring!!! Hopefully that means no more snowstorms!! but don’t count on it

I’m slowly getting my cleaning done , yesterday got a start on the basement at least what I can do myself anyway, today my sister is coming down to give me a hand and we’ll tackle the cubboards and fridge and stove and possibly get my floors done. That will put a big dent in it for sure.

Karla had a fun time on her birthday her friends took her out clubbing after the cake and icecream at the hospital and they had a ball.

Hopeing to get up to my brothers for a day or so soon, will likely try to do that next week.

Easter is this weekend, which doesn’t mean much to for us as no small children to hide eggs for ect.

Karla is going to be busy with my nieces little ones Saturday painting eggs and stuff, they will really enjoy that I’m sure.
