Well lets see,

Barb seems to be doing well even with the upsets she’s been faced with since going home from hospital after her heart attack (has found out she also has kidney disease and will be needing a transplant in the next few years).  But she is handling it all well and looking after herself. Ok well Hospital just called me, Barb is back in intensive care, having more chest pains. But the nurse says she is doing fine at the moment. will keep you posted.

Wendell’s mom has been sick this past week with what we thought was a touch of the flu, turns out she has bowle problems (similar to colitese) and has been dehydrating so she is on intervenous now, and she has infections to deal with.  She was doing so well in the healing process of the leg, she really didn’t need this set back at all.

I have had the flu for the last few days as well, still not 100% but feeling better than I was..

Today is AMANDA’s birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!!  and yesterday was Wendell’s brother’s birthday ,HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPENCER !!

Only 2 more weeks of work and then I’m off for the summer. At this point with all the upsets that have been happening I am ready to be done, I have so many things I want to get done around here, and I want some tine to just sit back and not have anything to worry about for a while. I think when I finish work I am going to take a day and do some walking thru the trails here, that is very relaxing !!

Well Barb got home Friday, they went in and put in 2 stints (sp?) in one Artarie and all went well. She was released to go home and is resting comfortably.

She does have to go for blood work as her kidneys are still giving her some problems. and she will have to go to ch’town at some point (not sure of WHEN) for an ultra sound.

But all in all she is home and glad to be home.

They decided to take Barb to Halifax today, she was having some minor pressure in the chest area, so they decided the best place for her was Halifax, I just called over to see how she got along on the trip over and she was able to talk to me herself , she said it was a long ride but all went well, not upsets or anything so that was good.

We still don’t know what if anything is going to happen they are putting the dye thru in the morning to see how much damage is done to the heart and figure out from there what if anything is going to take place, if its just a matter of putting the balloon thru and removing a blockage with the balloon she could be released by tomorrow afternoon and sent home !!

if they need to put in a pacemaker she’ll be in a little longer.  But we’ll have to wait and see what they dye shows.

She’s in good spirits and is glad to have arrived and is all settled in her room so that’s all good.  I went up to the hospital and spent some time with her this afternoon when they called to let me know they’d be moving her and she was glad to have someone there, she’s a little scared, and a friendly face was very welcomed.

Hopefully she will be home recuperating in the next few days. will update more tomorrow nite when I hear from her again.
