Well its halloween I wonder how many trick or treaters we’ll get this year, I’m ready for about 40 we only had 20 last year so we should be good

I’m finally all done in the potatoe field and go back to my office job tomorrow, it will be nice to get back into a routine!!

Have a few meals made ahead and put in the freezer, 4 lasgana’s 3 meatloafs, 4 chili’s, and a homemade pizza, (made 2 but cooked up one yesterday)

What kinds of treats do you pass out to your trick or treaters?

this year we are handing out, hickory sticks, bubblegum pops (suckers) mini bars and apples.

Well I just might get to bed at a decent hour tonight

Made a nice stew for supper that was good and have lots left over for W and K to have for suppers a day or two this coming week.

only have a couple more things to do before getting into my pj’s for the evening, pack my lunch for tomorrow, finish the laundry (my field clothes) and go out and pooperscoop the yard, (can get ahead of you fast if you don’t do it daily!)

by that time I’m hoping the Races are over so I can have the TV for a couple hours to catch up on some of my shows since I haven’t seen any TV since Thursday.

I’m finally starting to feel warm again, last night I froze all evening at work, so cold my whole body felt like pins and needles !! I stayed in the shower last night before my bath with the water as hot as I could get it and just tried to get warm, I thought I had it beat until I got out of the bathroom after my bath (nice and steamy warm in there) and then the chills started again   When I went to bed I had to take a fuzzy blanket and wrap up in it and then get under the covers , even my bedsheets felt cold to me!!! but the fuzzy blanket was soooo toasty warm, was a real pain tho when I had to get out through the nite to go to the bathroom OMG was like I was stepping into a freezer all over again!!

Anywhooo all warmed up now, but I’m keeping that fuzzy blanket close by for tomorrow nite

Just got out of the tub, worked a 14 hr day today, 15 yesterday (potatoe harvester), and my back is KILLING me! I don’t know WHY its bothering me sooooo badly lastnight and today it didnt’ the first few days out there, but the last 2 have been HORRID

We were suppose to have a SHORT day today but apparently someone forgot to inform the driver of the HARVESTER of this and we ended up working late this evening.

On the UPSIDE, one of the Truckers was nice enough to bring all of us a nice bottle of homemade wine this evening and I just finished having a nice BIG glass of it and it was SO NICE (while soaking in a nice HOT tub)

I can sleep in tomorrow and boy do I plan to!!! although I would like to be up early enough to go have a nice breakfast OUT somewhere

The wedding last saturday was lovely! was held INSIDE but once the ceramoney was all over the sun came out and it was great for the photographer to take some wonderful pictures

Karla got herself a new job she will be starting at Wal Mart sometime this coming week (night shift)so she’s pretty happy with that, of course that will mean that she won’t be able to share the potatoe harvesting job with me next week. 

But that’s ok far as I know I won’t be working the fields after next week as my regular job will start Nov. 1 YIPPIE  

They called me yesterday but I was in the field so I have to call them back Monday morning but from what I understand from friends who work the same program as me it will start Nov 1 and run till Feb 25, which is nice normally its only till mid January and then a few weeks delay to the next program, now the only thing that could go wrong with having the extra time is they wont’ let you leave one program to go to the next one ( no overlapping) and if the other program I work starts the 1st week of Feb like it usually does I will lose out on that program and in the end actually end up with even LESS time than I normally get   which means I could be done of work Feb 25 instead of sometime in June.!

Ahh well can’t worry about that now at least I’m getting my call to go back again this is a good thing!! 

Tomorrow I want to make a nice Stew for supper I can almost taste it now!!

Sorry for the long delay in updateing here, will try to upday soon although this coming week will be pretty hectic as we’ll likely be working 15 hr days.
