For any of you who watch the Big Brother 5 showing, I found a little twist to the twist that is on the show this season, The producers are saying the twist is that Adira and Natalie (the twins) who are switching places in the house everyso often is the twist. BUT check this out.

Well today was my first time to the beach (to suntan) was there once before gathering rocks for the garden but that only took a few minutes. Today Karla and I went and spent a couple of hours there. It was nice.
I’m pretty sure my back is burnt 
and I’ll likely pay for that later this evening. But I enjoyed it, I read a few chapters in my new book, and hopefully got a nice base tan to work with for the rest of the summer 
Karla was already nicely tanned, so she will just be that much darker tomorrow.
So now its almost supper time and I have to decide what to make, after lazing in the sun all afternoon I just wanna drink lots of COLD water, haha
Wouldn’t it be nice to have 7-8 grand sitting around so one could go here for the summer

Well the last couple of days have been raining, guess we needed it and it at least cooled it down a little.
I got an energy spurt last night at 10 pm and decided to clean the whole house!! Finished around 12:30 or so and am just finishing up the last of the laundry, (bedding). It won’t be hung out on the clothes line because of the weather but it will be done 
We went to the cardboard boat races on saturday they were a hoot!! had a great time with that.
Sunday a friend and I went out to do the Garden tours again, OMG there are some GREAT flower gardens around here!! Got some names of a few plants I want for next year.
Yesterday we went and did some much needed grocery shopping. I made Wendell come with me 
.
Today will be a full day won’t be sitting around bored anyway!! My sister in Law and Niece are comeing down to do a little shopping and then we will go out for lunch. Once I get back from that outting one of my sisters is coming to look at an apt she is pretty sure she will take it.
I think since today is a half ways cool day I might even cook a roast for supper!!
I haven’t even started on my summer project of stripping down the picnic table yet hopefully will get at that in the next week or so. would love to have it all redone soon.
Didn’t buy my hammock or fire pit for the back yard but maybe next summer we will do that. I am waivering between the hammock and the double swing for the back yard.
Got my catalogues from Vessey Seeds in the mail the other day have lots of pages flagged for bulbs that I want to order for the fall and spring. Hopefully I will have quite the garden (flowers) next year.

Wow been a while since we updated here!!
Lets see what has been happening since our last update, well one of my Brothers has arrived home from Ont for a visit. 
My Brother who moved home the end of April from Ont, picked up his granddaughter at the airport on Monday for a one month visit, She is pretty excited to get here to see grampa 
One of my sisters is looking at apartments in s’side here she is wanting to move down.
My Flower beds are doing great!!
OMG when one tries to think of what you have done in the last week or so you realize what boring lives we lead !
This evening I will go for a walk on the trails to meet up with my niece and her children. That will be a nice evening walk for me!
Went down to the sidewalk sales yesterday, wasn’t much interesting down there.
I do want to get up to West Point on Saturday tho, 2 of my brothers are entering the cardboard boat races 
I want to be there to watch them sink er umm WIN 
The lobster carnival is going on this week, so there should be a few of the events that we will try to take in, I want to go see the Talent contests they are usually really good.
Other than that its been fairly quiet around here, not that I’m complaining, its nice to have it quiet and relaxed

Well I went up town this evening for a few groceries and decided to have a look around Crappy Tire, since I had to go there anyway and pick up a bit more edging for the flowerbeds. and they had Peonies there for $5.00 Each !!! everywhere else I priced these plants they were anywhere from 11.99 to 15.99 so I grabbed 3 of them!! would have liked to have a variety in color but all they had was the red ones. Like this one
I’d like to have a couple of pink ones and a couple white ones to finish going down the fence.
So I got the groceries put away (Yes I did remember to get the groceries) and got my 3 peonies planted and finished putting the edgeing around the flower bed, (although I still ran out , have to pick up ONE more package of it to finish it up).
So my back yard is finally starting to look like someone lives here 
Although I doubt if we’ll be getting the fireplace for the back yard anytime soon ( it would be nice tho) but I do want to get my hammock so I can lay out and read on nice days.
Next summer I will be able to concentrate more on the beds around the house, I’ll get more plants to go all along the house and down the side of it. I have some there now but most are annuals so they won’t come back next year. I’ll have to invest in a few more pernialls each year to get it all gussied up 
I’m really enjoying the gardening its nice to be able to walk out to the yard and see what you have accomplished, and it looks so nice so you want to spend time out there.
Ohh and I put a few stepping stones out too, they are turtles, very cute They look like they are “swimming” thru the yard. LOL
