Well I’m starting to get things caught up, and have started publishing the pictures from our trip to Kevin’s in Toronto. I haven’t gotten them all in the album yet, nor do I have any comments or decriptions on them yet but Iam making progress. I have installed the album on my own server here so not to use up my space on my hosts server, even though I do have a fast internet connection things could load slow for you if a bunch of people start viewing these, here is the link to the PhotoAlbum

Well here it is Saturday nite (Sunday morning) Wendell is asleep onthe couch I am surfin the net having a strawberry margerita (thanks to shan for suggesting it on one of our meals out while visiting in Toronto)

Its been raining all day here, we did a little running around today out to Belmont park for a quick stop and visit a few of the Ham Radio Operators who were setting up for field day out there.

Then back in town and did a little shopping. then I went to my Nieces place for her 2 youngest ones Birthday celebrations. they are just too cute, they turned 2 and 3 this week. .

then said neice and her hubby stopped in for a drink before heading off to the bars for the evening.

They just left a bit ago.

As I said in an earlier post I got a great dent made in my Christmas shopping for this year. and have a good idea of what I might try to get for Wendell. He is admiring a new digital camera you can view it here I have almost 6 months to start saving up for it so it should be doable I hope

Tomorrow Amanda and I (my niece) will head up to the wester end of the Island to visit my brother who got moved home from Barrie Ont the end of April.  THey bought a small house via the internet and didn’t get the chance to get down to see it before buying it. Its a really nice little spot but they did a lot of work to it to get it set up the way they wanted it, so I want to get up and see it now that they have it all done. I’ve seen pictures and it looks awsome!! great to be such a handyman and be able to cut the costs by doing the work yourself like they did.

Well its time to get to bed I guess.

Well been home now a couple of days, getting back into the swing of things here, managed to make a nice potroast for supper this evening.

Got all the laundry caught up again, and put one of the new quilts on our bed. I Like the quilt set they are very nice!

Gizmo is still not wanting us out of his site at all, follows us around everywhere.

I have gone thru the stuff I bought and have started to figure out who is getting what for Christmas.. LOL

Now the fun part starts, paying off the credit cards

its a lot cooler here than it was in Toronto. we’re almost at the end of June and its still only hoovering around 15 degrees out!! WTF !!

Didn’t get a chance to hook up with Kim over at the G-Spot like we had hoped but maybe next time. They also had company home so they were very busy as well. Hope you make it down to the Island sometime Kim

I was raining here all day, so didn’t get out of the house much. But it was a great day to houseclean and get that kind of thing out of the way(now that its back to the old grind again), hopefully tomorrow will be a sunshiny day!!

Well we are back home again, had a good flight back execpt for the extra 1/2 hour on the stop over in Sydney, NS. so we walked through the door about 9:30PM and thanks to Karla she had supper waiting for us, and we needed it as we didn’t have much of anything to eat prior to going to the airport.

Now we are back at work and the fun begins with getting caught up, it’s nice to take a vacation but it’s always a pain to come back to a pile of work. So far I have gotten through a couple hundred E-Mails and have started to figure out what is going to get looked after first etc. but it’s going to take a few days to get things organized.

During our trip we did take alot of pictures, and I did say I would be posting some of them, but while we were at Kevin’s we really didn’t get much of a chance to post any, now before we left I burnt them all on to a DVD, yes thats right a DVD, between Kevin and I we had a little over 1.5GB of pictures. So it’s going to take a few days to go through them and sort, resize, and post. So everyone please be a little patient and we will get something together to allow you to view some of our trip.

Last night we went to The Midievil Times Dinner Theater.  It was a GREAT time! The Actor/Actress’s and the Horses were awsome! The food was great.

It was really hard to get good pictures in there but Kevin managed to get a short movie clip of the cast leaving the arena, on his digital camera. He will add the clip here later today for anyone who would like to see it.

The Acts were very well done and very impressive. The people and horses are very on cue and know their stuff!!
