Well it seems that the Atkins diet may be the cause for high cholesterol, or at least according to Jody Gorran who is suing the estate of Robert Atkins.

Well I am once again unemployed   I’m sure it will he hell getting thru the summer   LOL NOT!

I have lots I want to do before work OR School (depending on what I find out about returning to school) starts up again.  Next week we leave for a 2 week vacation to Kevins. Once back from there, we are into the end of June and its time to get at my flower beds. I want to plant flowers around the house and have a nice little flower garden in the back yard to enjoy.  Here is a pic of what I have in mind for my flower garden.

I have purchased a mini green house and have all my flowers (seeds) and herbs planted and in the greenhouse so by the time we get back from Kevin’s they should be ready to plant in the garden

Also this summer I will be doing some other gardening (vegetable garden) with a good friend who invited me to share a garden with her. I can almost taste the fresh beans, peas, and carrotts now!! 

We had a great evening last night my friend Rhoda’s birthday was Friday so we had a little get together for her here last night and we had a BALL. lots of laughs and story telling. and of course lots of drinks

Poor Wendell was the only male in the house, with 5 drunken women.    Good Job he’s so easy going.. haha Thanks for putting up with us dear!!

Karla’s cat went in for his big operation last week declawed and denutted on thrusday.. poor thing.. BUT he has turned into a completely different cat!! used to be if I went up to him to pat him he would scurry away but now he is just a big ole sulk, loves the attention and will even let me hold him and pet him !!

There is a new Great-Nephew in the family now!! Wendell’s niece had her baby boy yesterday morning around 6 am (5:57 or somewhere around there). I Haven’t been to see them yet, but here are the details Benjamin Scott, 21 inches long, 7 lbs 7 1/4 oz, I will be going up today and hopefully they will be up to seeing visitors,, when I went yesterday they were sleeping so I didnt’ get in to see them. she had been in Labour since thursday Morning and the Dr finally did a C section around 5 or 6 Saturday morning!! not much wonder she was sleeping at suppertime that day!! poor kid!

Well this is my first time blogging in the new set up here hope I did it right. 

Well folks here we are again TGIF, and what a week it has been. I think this week at work was one of the most stressfull weeks I have put in since I started this job 7 1/2 years ago. Hoping next week will be a bit better, if we can get next week in then we can relax and enjoy the next two weeks off, as we will flying up to Toronto to spend two weeks with Kevin.

About the only great thing that happened this week was my Insurance Agent called me to tell me to visit their office and sign a new policy for my car insurance that I would save a bunch of money, well I went in and as it turns out my savings are like 50%. Thats right 50% I couldn’t believe it either but it was true, 1998 was the last accident claim where apon my insurance premiums trippled - and I paid those high premiums until this year, so it will be nice not having to pay those high prices, I was paying my insurance in monthly installments which were very close to what Iam paying monthly on a car payment. Now if we could just do something about these high gas prices
